Some days, it feels like the weight on my chest is too much to carry. It’s not something you can always explain. It’s not always about a person, a place, or a specific moment. Sometimes it’s just the heaviness of everything.
The pain you didn’t speak about.
The tears you wiped in silence.
The moments you smiled when you wanted to scream.
The love you gave when you barely had any left for yourself.
That heaviness… it doesn’t show up overnight. It builds.
Little by little.
Disappointment after disappointment.
Loss after loss.
Betrayal after betrayal.
And before you know it, you’re sitting alone wondering how you even got here.
But even in the heaviness, I’ve learned this:
Hearts may grow tired.
They may grow weary.
They may feel like they have nothing left to give…
But they don’t stop beating.
That’s how I know I still have purpose.
That’s how I know healing is still possible.
Because a heavy heart can still be lifted.
It just takes time, faith, and patience.
If your heart feels heavy today — be gentle with yourself.
Cry if you need to.
Rest if you must.
But don’t you dare give up.
One day, this heaviness will lift.
And you’ll breathe freely again.
Not because everything is perfect…
But because you found the strength to keep going.
