About Jalissa
My writing was birth out of pain, purpose, & prayer. I've faced deep heartbreak, betrayal, a moments where I didn't think I'd make it through, but through every hardship, I discovered a strength I never knew I had and a voice meant to help others heal. Founding Cocoa's House Press wasn't just about publishing, it was about creating a safe space for real stories. Stories that uplift, inspire, and remind people that brokenness doesn't have the final say. Writing became my therapy, and now it's my ministry. I want visitors to feel uplifted and empowered. I want them to feel like this is a safe space. I want them to feel understood and I want them to know that even through struggles and pain, they can still find purpose. My journey isn't perfect, but it's real and through realness, I hope others see the strength in their own story and feel empowered to rise, rebuild, and write their next chapter.

Discover hope and healing
I want my readers to walk away feeling seen, stronger, and spiritually restored. Through every word I write, I hope to plant seeds of healing, faith, and seld-worth. If just one person feels less alone, finds their voice, or begins to believe they can rise again, then I've fulfilled my purpose.
