Here in Person but Gone Mentally 💭🖤

You can sit beside someone every day and still feel a million miles away.

They show up physically, they speak, they move, but the soul, the connection, the presence… it’s missing.

Have you ever looked into someone’s eyes and realized they’re no longer with you? They’re physically here, but mentally… they left a long time ago.

It’s one of the most painful places to be: loving someone who’s already gone without saying goodbye.

You begin to question yourself.

Did I do something wrong?

Am I imagining this distance?

Why do I feel alone while standing right next to them?

Truth is, sometimes people check out mentally because they’re lost, overwhelmed, or already detaching. And while that’s not your fault, it still hurts like hell.

This blog is for the ones trying to hold it together.

For the ones hoping, praying, and showing up, even when the other person stopped being fully present.

You deserve someone who is all there.

Emotionally. Mentally. Spiritually.

Not someone who leaves you feeling empty while still taking up space beside you.

Let this be your reminder: You are not invisible. You are not unworthy. You are not crazy.

Sometimes the hardest part isn’t letting go of the body, it’s letting go of the hope that their mind and heart will return.

But peace comes when you stop chasing what’s already gone — and start reclaiming your own presence.

I’m here and you’re not alone. Sometimes we have to go through just to get to. Love on yourself a little bit more, that’s when you find your real strength. When we love on ourselves we begin to see what love should look like, and feel. Your worth comes to light.
