Sometimes the hardest battles aren’t the ones people can see, but the ones we fight inside. A heart divided is torn between what it wants and what it knows it needs. Between holding on and letting go. Between love and peace.
I’ve learned that when your heart is split in two, you can’t move forward until you choose which side you’ll listen to. Will it be the side that craves comfort, even if it hurts you, or the side that whispers, “You deserve more”?
Being divided feels exhausting. One moment you’re hopeful, the next you’re doubting. One moment you’re smiling, the next you’re crying. But even in that division, there’s growth. You begin to see who you are, what you value, and what you can no longer accept.
A heart divided doesn’t stay that way forever. At some point, you have to decide. And that decision—though painful—becomes the beginning of your healing.
If your heart is divided right now, know this: you are strong enough to choose the path that brings you peace. ๐
