Sometimes you don’t even realize how tired you are until everything starts feeling heavy.
Not just your body — but your mind, your heart, and your spirit too.
You still show up.
You still smile.
You still answer messages.
You still handle what needs to be handled.
So people assume you’re okay.
But deep down, you know you’re running on empty.
And that kind of tired is different. It’s not always something sleep can fix. Sometimes it comes from carrying too much, feeling too much, and being strong for way too long.
You can be grateful and still be tired.
You can have faith and still feel drained.
You can love people and still need space.
You can be strong and still need rest.
That doesn’t make you weak.
It makes you human.
Sometimes you have to pause. Not quit. Not give up. Just pause long enough to breathe, pray, and get yourself together.
Because you can’t keep pouring into everybody else and keep forgetting about you.
Your peace matters.
Your heart matters.
Your rest matters too.
So today, give yourself some grace.
You don’t have to figure everything out right now. You don’t have to carry it all by yourself. And you don’t have to pretend you’re okay when you’re not.
Sometimes the prayer is just:
“God, I’m tired.”
And He understands that too.
Even when you feel empty, God can fill you back up. Even when you feel weak, He can still hold you. Even when you’re tired, you’re not done.
Take a breath.
You’re still here.
And sometimes, still being here is enough.
